As I Recall: Crossing The YouTube Bridge  Kingsport Times News

The advent of YouTube has made it possible to locate music, theme songs, excerpts and even entire episodes of television programs and movies. I like to think of it as serving a bridge between the past and the present. While many people may be familiar with the television series The Goldbergs, which ran from 2013 to 2023, there was another unrelated series by the same name which starred Gertrude Berg and which originated on radio. That version of The Goldbergs was mainly before my time, and thanks to YouTube I have been able to obtain the flavor of that series because of film and kinescopes of some of the broadcasts.With my grandchildren, I have been able to provide some bridges from my recollection.

When our grandson was just a baby, one song which could serve to soothe him at times was the theme to the Saturday morning cartoon The Archies. Sometimes the opening words "Everything's Archie" could provide at least some temporary relief or diversion from what otherwise was disturbing him.
