If you've been in Colorado for long, you've probably noticed the 'Ski Country USA' license plates floating around, with its current design featuring a skier prominently in the foreground and a much smaller snowboarder in the backdrop. While skiers love the plate, it can have snowboarders feeling like a bit of an afterthought. There's some good news for snowboarders though – their own dedicated license plate may be on the way soon. There’s some good news for snowboarders though – their own dedicated license plate may be soon on the way. Colorado Snowsports Museum is behind a push to make a long-discussed snowboard-themed license plate a reality, and the first step is for them to get 3,000 signatures on a related petition by the end of the year.
