The big weather story this week is the temperature change — from the 80s this weekend to highs struggling to reach 70 for much of the workweek. High 70 After a warm and humid weekend, a big change is coming to Central Ohio. Showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to start the workweek, with much cooler temperatures settling in behind the system.

Today will be mostly cloudy with periods of rain and highs only in the upper 60s to around 70. Tuesday stays mostly cloudy and cool, with highs near 70 and only a limited chance for a stray shower. Another round of showers is expected Tuesday night into Wednesday, keeping temperatures in the upper 60s to around 70. The weather finally begins to improve Thursday, followed by a much nicer finish to the week. Friday and Saturday look mainly dry with a return to sunshine, highs around 70, and chilly overnight lows dipping close to 50 — a definite taste of fall
