(Oct. 8, 2026) — The 10th Mountain Division (LI) opened a new chapter in its storied history as Brig. Gen. Joseph Ewers assumed command from Maj. Gen. Scott Naumann during a ceremony Oct. 8 on Sexton Field at Fort Drum, New York. Lt. Gen. Gregory Anderson, XVIII Airborne Corps commander and the presiding officer for the ceremony, commended Naumann for his transformative leadership and welcomed Ewers and his family to the North Country. “Today, we are here to recognize the exceptional leadership of Maj.
