Department Of Defense Installing New Railroad Crossing On Elmo Road  WKDZ

The Department of Defense has notified the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet that it plans to block KY 1453 (Elmo Road) in Oak Grove through Monday, November 9 to The Department of Defense has notified the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet that it plans to block KY 1453 (Elmo Road) in Oak Grove through Monday, November 9 to install a new railroad crossing for the tracks that service Fort Campbell.

The closure is expected to begin Thursday, November 5 at 6 a.m. and be in place until Tuesday, November 10 at 6 p.m. This closure will be at the crossing located at approximately the 0.25-mile point of KY 1453. There will be no signed detour. Work is scheduled, weather permitting.
