Deadline to enter Savannah Bananas ticket lottery for San Antonio games is Saturday  KSAT

Banana Ball is heading to the Alamodome, and fans who want a chance to see it in person have until Saturday to enter a ticket lottery. SAN ANTONIO – Banana Ball is heading to the Alamodome, and fans who want a chance to see it in person have until Saturday to enter a ticket lottery. The Savannah Bananas will face the Texas Tailgaters in two games, Sept. 10 and 11. Tickets are limited and will be sold through a lottery. The deadline to enter is Oct. 31. For Savannah Bananas pitcher and dancer Kyle Luigs, the trip to Texas will be personal. Luigs, who is heading into his 10th season with the team, was born in Arlington and has family scattered across the state.

“I think it’s really cool,” Luigs said. “I was born in Arlington, Texas. So, I actually have a lot of family out in the Texas area.” The Bananas’ fast-paced, entertainment-focused style of baseball has grown quickly. The team now has six teams and is playing in major league ballparks and football stadiums. “One of the steadiest principles that we’ve had from the beginning is being fans first,” Luigs said. “Making any of the games, wherever we’re playing in the country, very affordable and friendly to bring the whole family out.” Stephanie Serna is a weekday anchor
