JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville’s oldest Hardee’s restaurant has permanently closed. A sign on the front door of the San Jose Boulevard location said the restaurant shut down as of Monday. Lights were still on inside, chairs were stacked up, and no workers were visible. The location remains listed as open on Hardee’s website.

According to the Florida Times-Union, the San Jose Boulevard restaurant was the chain’s oldest location in Jacksonville, having opened in 1994. No explanation for the closure was included on the sign. Click here to take a moment and familiarize yourself with our Community Guidelines.
