Emergency crews responded to an industrial accident at the Charlotte Water treatment plant in northwest Charlotte Friday morning. CHARLOTTE — A contractor was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after an industrial accident at a Charlotte Water treatment plant Friday morning. Emergency crews got the call around 7:45 a.m. The plant is located in northwest Charlotte along Brookshire Boulevard, near Lawton Road. A Charlotte Fire truck is seen exiting the facility around 8:30 a.m.
