'TODAY' show intruder detained after allegedly breaching security near Craig Melvin: report

A man was detained Thursday after allegedly slipping past security at NBC’s Today show studios in New York while looking for Al Roker, TMZ reported.

After failing to find Roker, he reportedly lunged at co-host Craig Melvin and shouted a racial slur before security detained him.

No one was injured, and the hosts returned to the air shortly afterward.

Fox News Digital has reached out to NBC Universal for comment on the incident.
