Trump nominees questioned about standing up to political interference

There are no Senate-confirmed leaders running the Intelligence Community, Justice Department, CDC or health emergency preparedness. At confirmation hearings last week, lawmakers, mostly Democrats, spent much of the time questioning some of Trump’s nominees about standing up to political interference.
