FBI agents were told they would no longer investigate confrontations with ICE

The FBI will no longer investigate assault confrontations with ICE agents, according to two people familiar with the directives. According to those sources, FBI special agents in charge of field offices and agents in those field offices were told Thursday that the FBI would no longer investigate cases of assault against a federal officer. NBC News’ Julie Tsirkin reports.
