Madison, Wisconsin, police fatally shot a man that they say was armed with a knife after a report of someone “checking parked vehicles” authorities said. NBC News’ Maggie Vespa reports.
Madison police said that after a chase and a struggle, a man who was being sought pulled out a knife and injured an officer, which led to the deadly shooting.
