McCarthy starts, gets 'banged up' in Vikings' loss

Quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who ended up with 18 snaps, would have played longer Saturday if he had not gotten “banged up” during a rough first quarter in the Minnesota Vikings’ 13-3 preseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens, coach Kevin O’Connell said.
