Three people have been convicted in Fulton County following an investigation into the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips and the illegal distribution of drugs. ATLANTA — Three people have been convicted in Fulton County following an investigation into the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips and the illegal distribution of drugs. [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] The convictions stem from Operation Heatwave, a 2023 multi-agency effort led by the Atlanta Police Department targeting gangs, guns and drugs in areas of the city experiencing high levels of violence.

Among those convicted was 32-year-old Chiquille Bell, who authorities described as the ringleader of the gang’s drug distribution operation. Channel 2 Action News previously covered when police say they caught Bell dealing drugs and guns days after he was released from jail in 2023. The prosecution unit said this marks its fourth year partnering with APD on Operation Heatwave.
