The security landscape is changing rapidly, and the Army is adapting alongside it. To meet this moment, the Center for Army Lessons Learned (CALL) has officially evolved into the Transformation and Lessons Learned Manager-Army (TLLM-Army). Our objective is to provide the operational force the best practices needed to fight and win tonight while simultaneously driving change by solving problems thru the institutional Army, all at the speed of modern war.

My vision is to create a TLLM-Army that is a proactive and evidence-based lessons learned organization that seamlessly connects the operational force’s experiences with institutional adaptation, driving continuous improvement across the DOTMLPF-P ecosystem. Every issue of Trend Line is built on a simple, powerful foundation: you have a problem and we have the solution. This quarterly publication bypasses high-level theory to deliver concise actionable recommendations directly to tactical commanders and the Soldier at the tactical edge.
