A 33-year-old man is dead after he was found with multiple stab wounds near a West Side apartment complex, according to San Antonio police. SAN ANTONIO – A 33-year-old man is dead after he was found with multiple stab wounds near a West Side apartment complex, according to San Antonio police. Officers responded on a stabbing call just after midnight Wednesday in the 1000 block of San Fernando Street, which is located near Guadalupe Street. When they arrived, officers said they located the victim and transported him to a local hospital.

Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. According to an SAPD preliminary information report, witnesses said there were several people who were involved and inside the apartment. SAPD’s SWAT team was called out to the scene to remove them. They were detained shortly after, the department said.
