New Braves postseason apparel is on store racks as fans find new ways to show their team pride ATLANTA — Atlanta Braves fans are finding plenty of ways to wear their postseason pride. New postseason merchandise includes playoff-themed shirts, hats, jerseys and other team apparel. Online, the gear is getting attention too. The Fanatics website marks the Braves postseason locker room shirt as a “Most Popular” item. Spectrum News Georgia went to Truist Park Friday to talk with fans about the Braves gear they wear and what representing the team means to them. “For the city. It’s the love for the city. Everybody recognizes that A on that hat,” Atlanta resident Ryan Shed said.

For some fans, wearing Braves gear has also become part of building a connection to the team. “I was not originally a big baseball or a big Braves fan, but I got the jersey and I was welcomed in immediately,” Atlanta resident Darryl Collins said. Joe Lockwood said supporting the Braves has introduced him to baseball fandom in a new way. “Actually, to tell you the truth, I think this might be my first baseball team, like supporting wise. So that’s pretty cool,” Lockwood said. The new postseason collection gives longtime supporters and newer fans another way to represent Atlanta during the Braves’ postseason run.
