Will it rain in San Antonio this week? Here’s what to know  MySA

It's almost time for trick-or-treating in San Antonio. As we inch toward Halloween (and the big holiday season to follow), the Alamo City and parts of Central Texas can expect some rain in the week ahead. Here's what to know. According to the Austin/San Antonio National Weather Service office, rain chances are ticking up throughout the week in several Central Texas cities. The NWS said chances are highest Thursday into Friday, the day before Halloween. People in the Rio Grande Plains and southern Edwards Plateau are most likely to see the best chances for rain, though locally heavy showers are possible, according to the forecast.

San Antonio's chance of rain is 40% on Tuesday, October 27, but it drops to 30% on Wednesday. Chances jump back to 70% on Thursday, the highest probability of the week as of writing. After that, it falls to 55% on Friday, 30% on Halloween and just 15% on November 1. According to forecasters, South Central Texas is in for some "seasonably mild warm" temperatures, which should persist throughout the week. San Antonio can expect this week's highest high to reach 85 degrees on Sunday, November 1, and the lowest low of the week to dip to 66 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday. "Assuming the enhanced rain chances are going to pan out for Thursday
