SAN DIEGO, CA — San Diego County residents can trade in their leftover Halloween candy for toys, activities and gift cards during a three-day candy buy-back event next month. Brain Balance San Diego will host its annual Halloween Candy Buy-Back program Nov. 2-4 at its three locations in Carmel Mountain Ranch, Chula Vista and Encinitas. The event is open to all ages, and costumes are encouraged.
Participants can exchange unwanted Halloween candy for prizes while supplies last. The event also supports the Teal Pumpkin Project, a nationwide initiative aimed at making Halloween more inclusive for children with food allergies, sensitivities and sensory challenges. Candy drop-offs will be accepted during regular business hours, which vary by location. Participants can also take a free tour of the centers.
