‘Felix Truvere’ re-arrested on invasive visual recording charges WOAI
SAN ANTONIO – Neighbors in a local San Antonio community reported disturbing behavior from a man they identify as Felix Roberto Juarez, a singer known professionally as Felix Truvere. Police arrested Juarez after two people found videos of him peering into their bedroom window from their backyard’s second story deck. The victims told police they saw their neighbor on the cameras while reviewing Ring footage and said they recognized Juarez. Police say that in at least one video, Juarez appeared to be holding a device in a recording manner with blinking lights visible, raising concerns that he was recording without consent. Police arrested Juarez on July 1 after he entered the neighbor’s backyard again.
Authorities seized his cellphone at that time for further investigation. When detectives questioned Juarez about the incidents, he said he was retrieving his cat that had gotten loose, but he did not give police the passcode to unlock his phone. Investigators then obtained a warrant for Juarez’s connected iCloud account, which he had confirmed via his musical stage name email address. In August, Apple responded to the search warrant, which led police to find videos showing the victims engaged in sexual conduct filmed through a crack in their bedroom window curtains. Detectives say the evidence indicated Juarez used his cellphone to record people in private moments
