Abbott, Hinojosa make final push in San Antonio ahead of Election Day  KEYE

SAN ANTONIO – We are 24 hours away from Election Day, and the stakes are high for many races across Texas — especially the governor’s race. Both candidates are making their final push before voters head to the polls. Incumbent Greg Abbott is expected to stop in San Antonio tonight. His challenger, Gina Hinojosa, was in town Sunday, appearing at a Northside teachers union event before knocking on doors and asking for votes. Hinojosa’s proposals include $1,500 payments to Texas households, freezing electricity rates and suspending the state gas tax. If reelected, Abbott says he’ll focus on property tax relief, public education and border security. Election Day is tomorrow. Polls are open from 7 a.m.
