Boil water advisory continues after JEA crews repair water main break at Beach Boulevard, San Pablo Road  News4JAX

JEA issued a precautionary boil water advisory Thursday after a water main break at Beach Boulevard and San Pablo Road caused a drop in water pressure in the area. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – JEA issued a precautionary boil water advisory Thursday after a water main break at Beach Boulevard and San Pablo Road caused a drop in water pressure in the area. The incident also caused significant flooding, with water covering parking lots, sidewalks and roadways. JEA crews responded to reports of the break just before 4 p.m. Thursday and were working to isolate and contain the damage. The crews worked through the night to complete the repairs and restore water to impacted customers.

All lanes on Beach Boulevard had reopened by 7:15 a.m. Video from the scene showed widespread flooding across the surrounding area. In-person services at The Church of Eleven22 at 14286 Beach Blvd. resumed after they were briefly canceled as a precaution. JEA said the precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect for at least two days. Once the advisory is lifted, JEA will provide notification to all affected customers.
