Denver weather: Afternoon rain to follow a warm and sunny day  Denver Gazette

The National Weather Service said to expect a high of 87 degrees on Tuesday with a 30% chance of rain in the afternoon. It may be more than a week into September, but summer refuses to relent in Denver. Storms could bring hail and more severe patterns locally, according to the weather service. Denver is expected to be mostly unaffected, but precipitation is very possible.

Wind is forecasted to be light—staying under 8 miles per hour for the day. Temperatures will reach back up to the 90s Wednesday through Friday, and precipitation isn’t likely. Weather patterns are expected to change by the weekend, however, bringing rain with it. Tonight, expect a low of 60 degrees with any chance of rain ceasing by 9 p.m.
