Garner police investigate reported stabbing on Jones Sausage Road  WRAL

Garner police are investigating a reported stabbing on Jones Sausage Road early Tuesday morning. Garner police are investigating a reported stabbing early Tuesday morning. Police radio traffic indicates a person was stabbed on Jones Sausage Road near East Garner Elementary School around 2:20 a.m. A woman at the scene said her son was found stabbed on the sidewalk. WRAL News is working to confirm that information with police. When the WRAL Breaking News Tracker arrived, there was a white car sitting idle near a sidewalk.

Two people possibly connected to the incident stood in front of the vehicle. They were not identified. Emergency responders taped off the sidewalk in front of East Garner Elementary School as police, the Wake County Sheriff's Office and forensic crews investigated. WRAL News has reached out to Wake County schools to see if the investigation could impact school drop-off.
