Josh Shapiro is set to meet his Republican challenger, Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity in a debate ahead of the gubernatorial election, on Wednesday night. Democratic incumbent Shapiro has been campaigning on a platform of "getting sh*t done," a quote he popularized after speaking at the site of a collapse of I-95 in Philadelphia after working with PennDOT to have the incident repaired. On his campaign website, Shapiro claims that he invested "more in public education than ever before, hired hundreds of new law enforcement officers, created thousands of new jobs, and put money back in people’s pockets."
