The new store will be a part of Cassco’s Overland community development in Edwards Ranch. The San Antonio-based supermarket company announced Friday it has purchased more than 20 acres in a master-planned development that is part of the Edwards Ranch. Located at the northeast corner of Chisholm Trail Parkway and Oakmont Boulevard, the store will be in the 250-acre Overland community, a part of the Edwards Ranch being developed by Cassco, the real estate and development arm of the Edwards family. Construction will start early next year, and the H‑E‑B store is expected to open in late 2028. “We are honored to partner with H-E-B, a beloved Texas institution whose deep connection to its customers and neighborhoods closely reflects our own values of thoughtful development and investment in the Fort Worth community,” Cassco President Crawford Edwards said in a news release.

“H-E-B has earned the trust and loyalty of generations of Texans, and we look forward to the meaningful role they will play in the Overland community for years to come.” 📣 Your Community. Your News.
