Ladies At The Lake Fall Market Marks 10 Years At Santee Lakes  Patch

The 10th anniversary event will feature more than 130 vendors at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve. SANTEE, CA — The Ladies at the Lake Fall Market will celebrate its 10th anniversary next month with more than 130 vendors at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve. The annual market will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Lake 1 event area at 9310 Fanita Parkway in Santee. The event, which began in 2016 with 34 vendors, showcases primarily women-owned businesses and has grown to more than 130 vendors this year, according to organizers. Shoppers can browse holiday items, artwork, bath and body products, candles, clothing, handbags, jewelry, home decor, plants, pottery, handmade goods and other items.

"Our first event in 2016 had just under 40 vendors, so it's hard to believe we're now preparing to celebrate our 10th year with more than 130 vendors," event coordinator Shawna Fakhouri said. "This has become one of our favorite events, and it's been so rewarding to watch it grow year after year." The market will also feature a food court with food trucks and a drinks lounge under the gazebo hosted by Bella Beverage Catering and Burly & The Bean.
