Among roughly 6,000 people who have responded to the Black Census Project so far, 95% said they intend to vote in November, according to organizers. The same percentage of Black respondents younger than 30 said they plan to vote, according to the project, which has collected responses from about 6,000 people across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. To note, findings suggest voting interest is high even as confidence in government and political institutions remains low.
