State Senator Angela Paxton, the estranged wife of Attorney General and GOP Senate nominee Ken Paxton, has finally broken her silence about the race. In a newly released ad, she announced that she would be supporting the Republican ticket, saying: “In a general election, it’s not as much about the individual players on the team.

It’s about getting the whole team across the finish line.” She went on to warn against handing the future of Texas over to “the other team.” Paxton filed for divorce against Attorney General Ken Paxton earlier this year, citing “biblical grounds.”
