The facility was developed in close cooperation with the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation and is intended to move capabilities from laboratory experimentation to battlefield-ready deployment within short time frames. The lab will integrate communications products and develop services directly with Danish defense users, incorporating operational feedback and real-world constraints into the development process. Thales said the model is designed to allow technologies to be scaled rapidly while remaining aligned with customer timelines and operational requirements.

The facility will also support the integration of equipment selected by the Danish Armed Forces, including legacy systems, so that different components can operate effectively together and maintain battlefield connectivity.
