Woodland’s five wins without a loss place this season’s opening run ahead of all previous starts in the school’s history, according to the source information. The record-setting start is measured across the period beginning with Woodland’s 2007 opening.

Within that span, no earlier Woodland football start has exceeded the team’s current 5-0 record. The designation applies to the school’s football history and reflects the team’s opening record, rather than a single-game result. That distinction has been reached by the team in the season now underway. It is Woodland’s best start since 2007 in football.
