21-year-old Georgia man dies in afternoon shooting  WSB-TV

A 21-year-old man died Sunday after being shot in Macon. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is seeking information. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting that left a 21-year-old man dead Sunday afternoon in Macon. According to investigators, deputies responded to the 2300 block of Pio Nono Avenue just before 3 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found Jeremiah McCrary suffering from gunshot wounds. Deputies rendered aid until firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene.

McCrary was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not released information about a suspect or what may have led to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing, and officials say additional details will be released as they become available.
