The winning ticket, part of Monday's Illinois Lotto drawing, was sold at 6751 W. Archer Ave., just west of Midway Airport. I hope it was one of our regulars,” Abraham, the store's manager of 20 years said in a news release. “We sold a $100,000 Lucky Day Lotto ticket a few months ago, so this seems to be our lucky year.” The BP will get a $74,000 bonus for selling the ticket, lottery officials said.
“You never know when a stop at your neighborhood gas station might turn into something life-changing," Abraham added. The win comes as the Powerball jackpot balloons to $760 million after there was no winner Wednesday, though one ticket in Illinois scored $50,000. The next drawing is set for Halloween night. The $7.4 million prize is the third-largest Lotto jackpot won this year, the Illinois Lottery said. It follows a $10.25 million ticket sold at a Tony's Fresh Market in Chicago as
