Three girls were hurt when they were struck by a car in Miramar on Tuesday morning. Local10 News is reporting that two teenage girls were walking within a marked crosswalk when they were struck. Information about the third child is unavailable. Miramar Police are asking motorists to avoid the area of Miramar Parkway and Douglas road while the investigation is underway.

Eastbound Miramar Parkway and southbound Douglas Road are closed as of 7 a.m.; westbound Miramar Parkway is open but has significant delays, and northbound Douglas Road is open.
