Astronaut aboard SpaceX rocket has pregnant wife at home: "Making a sacrifice"

Two hundred and sixty miles above the Earth, the Dragon spacecraft is set to reach the International Space Station for a six-month stay.

It has four astronauts on board, including one with another big mission back on Earth. Mark Strassmann has the story.

The verified evidence provides no additional factual details beyond the existing text about the Dragon spacecraft, its four astronauts, its planned six-month stay at the International Space Station, or the astronaut’s personal circumstances.

Adding material about the astronaut’s identity, the wife’s pregnancy, the launch, the mission, or the reported sacrifice would require facts not contained in the verified evidence provided.
