Here's a look at a few events happening around the city. New York City is a multicultural hub with dozens of museums, hundreds of parks and millions of people. The number of potential things to see and do can feel overwhelming, but NY1 has you covered with some of the highlights taking place this weekend across the five boroughs. The Feast of San Gennaro returns to Little Italy this week for 11 days of food, tradition and celebration. The annual feast, which is marking its 100th year, pays tribute to San Gennaro, the patron saint of Naples, Italy. Visitors can enjoy Italian favorites including sausage and peppers, pizza, meatballs, pastries, cannoli and freshly fried zeppole while exploring the many vendors and activities throughout the neighborhood.

Ahead of the last home game of the season, the Mets will honor their longtime broadcaster Howie Rose. Rose previously announced he planned to retire at the end of this season, and Sunday's ceremony will look back on his impact on the Mets organization. Rose began his Mets broadcasting career in 1987 and has served as the team’s lead play-by-play radio voice since 2006. Inspired by the catchphrase he uses after every Mets win, the first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive a “Put it in the Books!” notebook and scorecard. The New York Transit
