ATLANTA — Atlanta's E-911 system is back online Tuesday morning after it crashed on Monday night. ATLANTA — Atlanta’s E-911 system is back online Tuesday morning after it crashed on Monday night. For several hours, operators could not receive or dispatch emergency calls through their computer system. Operators had to reroute calls to Fulton County until the technical issues were fixed.

Technicians are working to find out why the system crashed. But officials say it was not hacked.
