SAN ANTONIO – A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after a shooting on the West Side Sunday evening and suspects who may be connected have not yet been located, according to San Antonio police. Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. near Menchaca and North Elmendorf streets and found a teenager with a gunshot wound to his torso, according to a SAPD preliminary report sent on Monday. Police initially said the teenager was shot twice at the West Side apartment and taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

According to authorities, two suspects fled from the scene and police are continuing to search for them to determine who allegedly shot the boy.
