Is DJ Moore playing on 'Monday Night Football?' A look at the Bills WR's status vs. Rams

Moore was initially listed as questionable with a shoulder injury. The Buffalo Bills will help conclude Week 5 in the NFL when they roll into SoFi Stadium for a "Monday Night Football" heavyweight matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. This could very well be a Super Bowl preview between two of the league's elite clubs, but it's unclear if Buffalo will be firing on all cylinders offensively. Specifically, there is the looming status of top wideout DJ Moore that is in question leading up to kickoff. Moore is officially listed as questionable for the contest as he continues to deal with a nagging shoulder injury. After not practicing on Thursday or Friday because of the ailment, Moore did get back onto the practice field on Saturday in a limited capacity, which holds out hope and led to his questionable designation.

On Monday afternoon, the Bills did elevate wide receiver Trent Sherfield Sr. from the practice squad, which might be an indication that Moore is truly a game-time decision. Of course, Sherfield could also merely be depth at the position for a Buffalo squad that already ruled fellow receiver Joshua Palmer out with a shoulder injury. Roster moves: – Signed CB Anthony Kendall from the practice squad – Released OLB Mike Danna – Elevated DL Phidarian Mathis and WR Trent Sherfield
