Sherrock one of 24 'amateurs' taking on Littler

Women's world number three Fallon Sherrock is named among the 24 contestants bidding to beat Luke Littler in a new Netflix special. The 'amateurs' will each take on Littler in a single leg of 501 and anyone who can beat the two-time reigning world champion will be in line for the cash prize. It is part of Netflix's new special 'Beat Luke Littler', which will be broadcast live from the Manchester Central Convention Complex on 30 October.

Sherrock has been a pioneering figure in darts since she became the first woman to win a match at the PDC World Championship when she beat Ted Evetts in 2019. Fellow teenagers Mitchell Lawrie and Jayden Walker will also be among those hoping to defeat 19-year-old Littler, who shot to fame in 2024 when, aged 16, he reached the final of the PDC World Darts Championship. Scotland's Lawrie, 15, became the first teenager to reach a WDF World Championship final last year, while he is a two-time world youth champion. Walker, meanwhile, won the England International Open earlier this month to become the youngest winner
