The Florida Highway Patrol says a 39-year-old man has died after he was hit by two vehicles while attempting to cross Philips Highway Friday night. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol says a 39-year-old man has died after he was hit by two vehicles while attempting to cross Philips Highway Friday night. FHP says a Honda HRV and a Ford Explorer were both traveling southbound in the center lane of Philips Highway just north of Southside Boulevard.

The man attempted to cross the road in front of both vehicles when troopers say he was hit by the Honda, then the Ford.
