INGOLSTADT (dpa-AFX) – Volkswagen subsidiary Audi plans to lend employees to the defense industry. The voluntary project will allow employees to work temporarily for other companies in Bavaria, the automaker said. Initially, the companies involved will be Diehl, Airbus, MBDA and KNDS, which operate either wholly or partly in the defense sector.
