Brian Harman flips the bird after 3M Open finish, gets a laugh from Scottie Scheffler

Brian Harman had one final message for a TV camera after the 3M Open, and Scottie Scheffler couldn’t stop laughing.

After wrapping up play at TPC Twin Cities in Minnesota, Harman and Scheffler headed to the scoring area to sign their scorecards.

Scheffler had just fired a bogey-free 8-under 63 to finish solo second at 22 under, while Harman posted a final-round 65 to finish tied for third at 20 under.

Both golfers ultimately finished behind 21-year-old Jackson Koivun, who carded a tournament-record 25 under to secure his first PGA Tour victory in just his third start as a professional.

With the round over, the two veterans settled in to sign their scorecards.

A TV camera positioned directly in front of them captured what happened next.

Harman looked into the lens and raised his middle finger. Scheffler immediately burst into laughter, punctuating the moment with a fist pump.

The exchange stood out because it unfolded in one of golf’s most routine settings, with both players simply signing their scorecards after the round.

The moment caught Scheffler by surprise, with the World No. 1 immediately laughing and pumping his fist after Harman flashed the camera.

It was a brief departure from golf’s usual buttoned-up atmosphere and an amusing finish to an otherwise routine afternoon at the 3M Open.
