David Crowley unexpectedly beat a progressive candidate in the Democratic primary for Wisconsin governor, and will face Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany on the ballot in November.
The children were identified as girls ages 9, 5 and 3 and a boy, 7. An official said the father had been reported for “aggressive behavior” in the past.
NBC News projects that Crowley, the Milwaukee County executive backed by Gov. Tony Evers, narrowly defeated Hong, a democratic socialist state lawmaker, in the key battleground state.
