Extended Interview: Ex-Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon, who warns AI could destroy humanity

Jacob Coxon publicly resigned from his position as an Anthropic researcher on Tuesday, accusing the company and rival developer and ChatGPT-maker OpenAI of “gambling with our lives” by racing to develop advanced AI models. He spoke with Jo Ling Kent about his decision to resign and why he feels AI could one day threaten humanity.
