Liberty Square subdivision in Roswell gets 101 free smoke alarms to help prevent home fire deaths — The Roswell Fire Department and the American Red Cross installed free smoke alarms in 34 homes in the Liberty Square subdivision on Sept. 19. Roswell Fire said 11 teams went out from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. along Worthington Hills Manor, Worthington Hills Trace, Worthington Hills Court, Parkmont Drive, Liberty Knoll and Liberty Trace. By the end of the event, teams had visited 161 residents and installed 101 smoke alarms from the American Red Cross, according to Roswell Fire.
