Smoke could be seen billowing from the top of a Houston Methodist Hospital building near that intersection in the Texas Medical Center.

Neither the fire department nor Houston Methodist immediately responded to requests for comment. In a statement published by multiple local news outlets, a Houston Methodist spokesperson said, “No injuries were reported, and there is no ongoing risk to patients, visitors or employees.”
