NES urges Middle Tennessee to prep for outages as Hurricane Isaias nears  WZTV

As Hurricane Isaias heads toward the Gulf Coast, Nashville Electric Service says it is getting ready for possible power outages from heavy rain, flooding and strong winds this weekend. NES is keeping an eye on weather forecasts for Middle Tennessee with systems expected to affect the area Saturday. Even if power is restored in your area, your home or business may need extra repairs before electricity comes back on and NES will keep updating restoration times as their crews assess damage and situations change.

NES also reminds everyone to keep their contact details up to date, which you can do by signing in to My Account and clicking "Profile," by calling Customer Relations at (615) 736-6900 or by stopping by 1214 Church Street during normal business hours.
