Novo Nordisk Sues Eli Lilly Over Weight Loss Drug Advertisement

Novo Nordisk, which makes Ozempic and Wegovy, has filed a federal lawsuit against Eli Lilly, accusing its competitor of false advertising and unfair competition. Novo Nordisk challenges national ad campaigns from Eli Lilly that compare GLP-1 drugs from both companies, saying that Lilly intentionally relies on outdated clinical trials to paint a false and misleading picture.
