Russian Defense Ministry: We will intensify strikes on defense industry facilities in Ukraine  saba.ye

The Russian Ministry of Defense affirmed today, Sunday, that its armed forces will intensify their strikes on military and defense industry facilities and related infrastructure

in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine, in response to statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regarding intensifying the targeting of Russian oil refineries.

According to the ministry, the planned increase would encompass targets it described as military and defense-industrial facilities, along with related infrastructure. It said the targets were in Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine. The ministry presented the move as a response to Zelensky’s statements on intensifying attacks against Russian oil refineries.

The announcement characterized the intended action as an escalation of Russian armed-forces strikes against the specified categories of Ukrainian targets. It linked that escalation directly to Zelensky’s comments about Russian refining facilities, while referring to both the capital and other Ukrainian regions in outlining the geographical scope of the planned strikes.
